The General Surgery Department is considered to be the backbone of the surgical division of the Hospital. The Department consists of Modular Operation Theatre complex, surgical ICU, Recovery unit, post operative wards and surgical unit. General Surgery unit is staffed by well-trained and experienced surgeons, operation theatre nurses, other trained health care professionals, who are capable of treating a wide variety of surgical problems.
Our surgeons provide 24-hour cover for all the surgical emergencies presenting to the Emergency Department of the Hospital and are available for cross consultation from other departments both for in-patients as well as out-patients.
